Tips For Fitting Your Own Blinds

Although this can seem like a daunting task, the truth is it’s actually quite easy if you have the right tools and stick to the methodology of “measure twice, cut once”. All too often have I seen botched installations because of the overly macho let’s drill a hole in the wall and make it fit approach to DIY.

We’ve all done it before but spending an extra 10 minutes on a job can mean the difference between a perfect installation and your wife shouting at you for drilling 20 holes into the wall and running out of polycell once you’ve destroyed the house.

Wherever you purchase your blinds from, they’ll usually come with the blinds, clips, installation brackets, screws and cords if applicable make sure you double check all the items are included in your purchase before starting the installation as there’s nothing worse than getting half way through a job to find you’re missing crucial parts.

All blinds are unique in their installation process but this website is a great starting point for installing most types of blinds.
